Amelia Cooper

Amelia Cooper is the most recent descendant of the Cooper family, an infamous clan of master thieves dating all the way back to 3000 BC in Egypt. She herself lives quite a long ways after that, in the 22nd century. Born in the year 2123 in Berlin, Germany, she, like many in her clan, was a kleptomaniac by nature, though in addition to this, she was also a blooming mechanic.

Don’t get confused, she was no inventor. She couldn’t come up with new ideas for how things could be used, but she could fix and repair things with increasing proficiency as she grew up, and all she needed to do was look at blueprints of a device, and she’d be able to fix it up or assemble it from scrap. Her cane is one of her best creations; all based on the same basic design outlined in her families Thievious Raccoonus, its evolved from simply being a wooden stick with a curved end and an old shock pistol fashioned on the end of it to a fully modernized device; complete with a grappling hook, a tazer, and a peanut dispenser.

Harriet Grove

Harriet is the brains behind the thieving operations of the 22nd centuries Cooper gang. Ironically enough, she never thought she would have been a criminal growing up.

She started off just making mods for video games for herself; changing variables, messing with the code to give her extra lives or ammo or wall hacks or that sort of thing, though eventually that grew boring, or at least tedious, after enough time. Though she at first was hesitant, she did start remoting into other peoples, and businesses, computers. She wouldn’t actually cause any harm or take anything from them, more just testing and expanding her skills, seeing how long she could just be inside their systems before she was found out by the security codes.

It wasn’t until she was 16 that she finally got to doing an actual criminal act. Two years before she met Amelia, she took half the money stored in the National bank of Wales, and put it into fake companies who all, through a convoluted series of transactions, eventually funneled the money back to her. Of course, the heist itself was just a cover for her, allowing her to hack the banks loan system to give her parents the loan they had been denied at the bequest of a larger, multi-national donut shop chain, Dippin’ Donuts. Stomping a family business under their boot was justification enough for her to go after them. And to also cover tracks, she gave out all loans to everyone who had requested them at the time, so no one would stand out among the crowd.

Tigress

Tigress was born in a monastary, an onyx temple deep in the Kunlun mountains. Here she was raised by warrior monks, learning how and when to fight in ways that best benefited her stature and strength, working to cover her weaknesses. She lived peaceably in the mountains with her temple, and engaged in the 'ritual' obtaining of goods through taking food and other such items from carts and houses down in the village after dark.

All good things do eventually come to an end, and that end came when Tsao Enterprises illegally obtained the deed to the land the temple was built on. None of the residents were made aware of this until it was too late, and they were all forced off of their land.

This is what fully kickstarted Tigress into her more head-on approach to thievery. Upon learning about the company and family that had done her and her home wrong, she set about making it right, by breaking in and sabotaging every chance she could get until eventually the company went bankrupt, and the owners left destitute.
